Spare of A Girl's Thoughts

"Life is not about finding our self, but how we create it" It's about a girl who is very fascinated about life, but yet hasn't got enough about it. She's kinda stuck between the reminiscent and the future all about but always looking forward to move on and wishing someday, neither force or vengeance would be able to restraint her from her very own freedom.

:: Blogging...Then Got Fired!

I read this magazine couple days a go and this article caught my eyes when I saw it. The title is "Can a Blog Get You Fired?" from Cleo Magazine November Edition.

According to this article, there are quite a lot of people who got fired because of blogging. I'm not talking because they were blogging during their work hours. What they did were they made fun of their job, uploading unrespectable photos about their workplaces, bitching other workers in their blog which according to their employer is very objectional and negative.

A special term for a person get canned because of blogging is called dooce. Dooce is a personal website of Heather Armstrong, the 1st person sacked because the content of her blog in 2002. Other funny story is Queen of The Sky, an airline employee who put her photos of her posing in an empty plane while in uniform.

Well, there are lots of story you can find about people who got fired because of funny reason other than blogging. Those dooces have made their revenge website, www.simplyfired.com.
There are some funny stories about people who got fired due to funny and simply hard to believe reasons. Well, you better have a look at it.

In conclusion, back to discussion about those bloggers, i think I wouldn't 100% blame it on the employer. Imagine if you were the employer and one of your employee saying something bitchy about you in their blog *which literally could be seen by everybody who has internet connection*. I think I'll do the same thing if I was in those employers' shoes.

So dear blogger friends, be careful of what you write, be cautious and aware. Even though this place is your way of expression and freedom of mind, to be responsible of what you write is wise. So lastly, be wise.
